This announcement constitutes the only solicitation; proposals are being requested and a written solicitation will not be issued. Solicitation F09609-98-R-0001 is hereby issued as a Request for Proposal (RFP). The following items are required: CLIN 0001: Provide 110 each 4-wheel utility trailers for off road use with the following specifications: Dimensions: 38" wide x 72" long wood deck bed made of yellow pine (NOTE: Dimensions from outside of tire to outside of tire is 37"); tire size: 15 x 6 x 6; load capacity 1200 lbs.; brakes: None; coupler: Bolt on 1 7/8" removable ball-type hitch; removable tongue; removable "T" handle for hand operation; no lights required (for off road use only); color: Sand/Olive Drab Green; finish: All metal to be sandblasted and acid etched with two coats of primer and two coats of acrylic enamel (non-gloss); all trailers to be pickled and oiled for shipment; all trailers shall be supplied with a spare tire, lug wrench and one year warranty.
