Adolescent and Family Branch of the Center for Mental Health Services
requires a broad-based citizens' mental health advocacy organization in
collaboration with the GAINS Center to document and publicize the
current conditions of children with co-occurring mental health and
substance abuse disorders who are at-risk for or are currently involved
in the juvenile justice system. The Program Support Center intends to
negotiate with the National Mental Health Association, 1021 Prince
Street, Alexandria, VA 22314, on a sole source basis for this
requirement. The period of performance shall be one year. This award
shall be made using simplified acquisition procedures. Responses
received as a result of this notice of intent will be considered solely
for the purpose of determining whether to conduct a competitive
procurement. The Government reserves the right not to open this
requirement to competition based on the responses received. Interested
firms must submit convincing documentation substantiating their
capability to furnish this requirement within fifteen (15) days after
the publication of this notice. No solicitation package is available.
