This announcement constitutes the request for quote for the required items. Proposals are hereby requested under RFQ N00189-97-Q-6211, a subsequent solicitation document will not be issued. FISC Acquisition Group Norfolk intends to purchase on a full and open competitive basis, three (ea) Optalign Plus Laser Shaft Alignment System w Class ii Visiable Laser Beam, p/n ALI 5.000, Mfr. Pruftecnik . Award of a firm fixed price contract on a brand name or equal basis is contemplated. Proposals received shall specify FOB Destination, Norfolk, VA. Offers other than FOB Destination shall be ineligible for award. The following FAR provisions and clauses apply to this solicitation and are incorporated by reference: FAR 52.212-1. Instructions to Offerors- Commercial Items, 52.212-2eval-Commercial Items: The Govt intends to make anaward to the responsible offeror whose offer conforms to the minimum technical requirements and submits the lowest overall price. Award will be made to the eligible, responsible offereror whose offer, conforming to the solicitation, offers to the overall lowest price to the Govt. The Govt reserves the right to award the contract to other than the lowest priced offeror.
