The Government requires software and maintenance to be completely consistent and compatible with the existing Government environment. The items are: (1) DL Composer Toolkit for DEC Alpha OSF-1 Model DLCTK-ALPHA//OSF-1 (1 each); (2) DL Composer Toolkit Annual Maintenance for DEC ALPHA/OSF-1: RIGHT TO UPDATE ONLY, Model MS-DLCTK-ALPHA/OSF-1 (1 each); (3) DL Composer Runtime for DEC ALPHA/OSF-1 Model DLCRT-DEC ALPHA/OSF-1 (1 each); (3) DL Composer Runtime annual maintenance for DEC ALPHA/OSF-1: RIGHT TO UPDATE ONLY, Model MS-DLCRT-DEC ALPHA/OSF-1 (1 each). The software maintenance shall be for the right to updates only. Datalogics Inc is the proprietary and only source to provide this software and maintenance. This software is the only software that can be used to fulfill the Joint Computer Aided Logistics System requirement that performs the application for document development. The Government is currently using the DL Composer Toolkit software and this requirement must be completely compatible with the existing software. This is the standard technical documentation being utilized by the Department of Defense. Datalogics Inc is the only source that provides this required software and maintenance. Award is to be made utilizing Simplified Acquisition Procedures. All responsible sources shall provide manufacturer's specifications with their fax quote which shall be considered by the Naval Surface Warfare Center, Dahlgren Division, Dahlgren, VA 22448.
