The Federal Bureau of Investigation (FBI) has a need to renovate an existing parking garage facility located at 1260 South Sepulveda Boulevard, Los Angeles, California, adjacent to the FBI Los Angeles Field Office. Construction shall include, but is limited to, civil, architectural, structural, mechanical, electrical, and fire protection work to renovate existing space into office space. Estimated cost is between $1,000,000 and $5,000,000. Detailed requirements and specifications are included in the Solicitation. Release date for the Solicitation is August 7, 1997. The Solicitation shall be available by mail request only at a cost of $200 per set, with a limit of two (2) sets per requesting firm. Firms wishing to reserve a copy at this time may do so by remitting its deposit to the FBI, Attn: Jan H. Brown, Room 10254, JEH-FBI Building, 935 Pennsylvania Avenue, N.W., Washington, DC 20535. The deposit is fully refundable upon return of thecomplete Solicitation to the FBI, at the address provided in the Solicitation, within 15 calendar days following Bid Opening. The Solicitation shall be available on a first-come-first-serve basis until supply is exhausted. A Pre-Bid Conference/Site Visit is scheduled for Thursday, August 21, 1997, at 9:00 am (Local Time) at the garage facility, 1260 South Sepulveda Boulevard, Los Angeles, California (See Solicitation for particulars). Bid Opening is scheduled for Monday, September 8, 1997, at 2:00 pm (Local Time) at the following address: FBI, Room 10254, JEH-FBI Building, 935 Pennsylvania Avenue, N.W., Washington, DC 20535. Bids shall not be accepted at any other location. Performance Bond is required. Payment Bond is required if sub-contractors will be used on this project. Insurance is required.
