C -- A/E SERVICES FOR UNDERGROUND TANK REMOVAL SOL A/E 527-28-97 DUE 081897 POC Jo Ann Petrillo, Contract Specialist (718)630-3566 Furnish professional Architect-Engineer services to design the removal of nine (9) underground storage tanks and replacement of six (6) of the tanks all located at the Brooklyn Veterans Administration Medical Center (BVAMC). (6) tanks are 30,000 gallons each and (3) tanks are 600 gallons each. Services include design, project phasing, detailed construction cost estimate, evaluation of the existing systems, recommendations for replacement/upgrade in accordance with EPA, DEC, DEP and other applicable regulations. Drawings shall be CADD generated with Auto Cad. The performance period for this project is 120 calendar days. The estimated cost of the construction is between $250,000 and $500,000. Pursuant to the Small Business Competitiveness Demonstration Program this procurement is set aside for emerging small business participation only. The applicable SICC is 8711 and the applicable emerging small business size standard is $1.25 Million average annual receipts for the past (3) fiscal years. Selection criteria shall include specialized experience, capability to perform, professional qualifications of the staff assigned to this project, record of past performance, capacity to perform in the required time period, location in the general geographical area of the project and knowledge of the locality of the project. The geographical area is limited to an approximate 50 mile radius from the BVAMC. This is not a request for proposals.
