70 -- BAILEY CONTROLS CONSOLE UPGRADE SOL N0025397R0030 DUE 082297 POC Contact Point, Victor Angkico, 360/396-5671 The Naval Undersea Warfare Center (NUWC) Division Keyport, intends to solicite for, utilizing the policies and procedures found in FAR Part 12, Commercial Acquisitions, a replacement of operating consoles for the Bailey Distributed Control System located on board the YTT-10 and YTT-11. The consoles must interface with the existing Bailey main processing system, in which the Navy has a substantial investment. The console hardware and software required to interface to the Bailey processing system is proprietary to the Bailey Controls Company. The Government does not possess a specification for competitive procurement. The procurement will also include installation, configuration conversion, and training. The items to be acquired are: 2 each, Bailey P/N LBPWCU0P000 (console software w/logging); 2 each, P/N LBPWCU00000 (console software w/o logging); 4 each, P/N INPCI02-232L (computer interface unit); 4 each, P/N IEPAS02 (modular power supply); and 4 each, P/N MRP4030 (marine mounting kit). The acquisitionwill be solicited on a sole source basis to Bailey Controls Company, 32028 NE 139th St, Duvall, WA 98019. Delivery and installation is required within 3 months after contract award, subject to craft availability. The solicitation shall be issued on or about 12 Aug 1997 with a 10 day closing.
