The work includes the furnishing of all labor, materials, equipment, transportation, management and supervision necessary to load, transport and thermally treat approximately 1400 tons of petroleum hydrocarbon contaminated soils. Soils are contaminated with JP-5 and JP-8 jet fuel from a leaking oil/water separator and a leaking fuel line. Soils include bentonite drilling slurries. Site is located on NAS Fallon as shown on attached sketch. However, treatment of soil must be accomplished off base. This will result in a Firm Fixed Price contract. Performance period to be sixty (60) after award. Bid packages will be available approximately Jun 11, 1997, issued on a first come, first served basis until supplies are exhausted.
