Individual sought to provide Technical Computer Support and Data Analysis to Alaska Fisheries Science Center. The National Oceanic Atmospheric Administration (NOAA), Procurement Branch, Alaska Fisheries Science Center (AFSC) is seeking sources to perform the following duties: 1. Inventory of archived paper media sources and cross-referencing with existing ADP files. 2.Rescue data and reduction to electronic media for sources that exist only on paper media.3.Validation of existing data files relative to original data sources. 4.Obtain data from other agencies as may be applicable to the project. 5.Creation of a relational data base that integrates existing and historical records. 6.Integration of data with Kodiak Laboratories Internet Home Page for dissemination. 7.Assisting in the transfer of existing and newly created PC-DOS historic databases to a UNIX based Geographical Information System (GIS).
