The services include providing all personnel to provide security services 24 hours a day, seven days a week, including holidays, in controlled areas of the flightline. The personnel performing the security services shall be able to speak and read English and have a current secret security clearance. Specific tasks include monitoring personnel and vehicles (ingress/egress) and access to controlled areas and buildings; performing general escort duties; issue, control, inventory and account for visitor badges and facility keys; conduct random physical security checks; and receipt and handling of classified material. The anticipated period of performance is Basic Period -- 1 Jul 97 through 30 Sep 97, and four one year options ending 30 Sep 2001, for a total of four years and three months. This acquisition is being accomplished under FAR part 12 procedures, Acquisition of Commercial services. This requirement is 100% set aside for small business. SIC Code is 7381.
