Operational Contracting at Brooks AFB San Antonio TX intends to solicit and negotiate a firm-fixed price contract with Georgia Institute of Technology, 250 Fourteenth Street, N W,Atlanta GA 30332-0200, under the authority of FAR 6.302-1. This requirement is for a quantity of one Vital Signs Monitor. This acquisition will provide a prototype of a device that will remotely monitor heart rate and respiration of a human subject. The device will operate at 35 GHz with coherent frequency modulation and will utilize digital technology. The device will be delivered to Brooks AFB TX and its capabilities demonstrated by the vendor. This notice is of intent is not a request for competitive proposals.
