The Beacon 2000 Fluorescence fluorometer will be used to study the formation and stability of the closed complexes. The Beacon 2000 Fluoresence Polarization System is the only equipment available that can measure fluorescence anistropy at picomolar concentrations of DNA and proteins. The Beacon 2000 machine uses a fixed filter whereas, others use continuous filters, which causes of lot of light to be lost, decreasing its sensitivity.
