Solid construction with a minimum of eight each, 1 inch diameter fiberglass reinforcing rods running longitudinally through the camel. Rods will be equally spaced and placed a minimum of 1 inch from the surface of the camel. Color is black. Size will be 17 1/2 inches diameter X 40 feet long. Each camel will have a galvanized steel hawse pipe spaced 1 feet 6 inches from each end of the camel. The hawse pipes will be perpendicular to the axis of the camel, parallel with each other and on the same plane through the center of the camel. The hawse pipes will be constructed of zinc schedule 160 pipe, having a 1/2 inch thick X 5 inches diameter flange welded to each end leaving the inside of the pipe open as a passage for chain. The hawse pipe will be a force fit to the camel. This is a resolicitation which was published in the May 1, 1997 CBD. Note changes made in the description (Block 17) and due date (Block 10).
