The CECOM Acquisition Center -- Washington Operations Office seeks technical literature, specification sheets, and product descriptions from potential sources for anticipated acquisition of Movement Tracking Systems. Any commercially available pricing information is also required. All responsible sources of the entire system or any part of the system are invited to respond. Potential sources are also asked to identify themselves as either an original equipment manufacturer or a value added reseller. The Government may revise its acquisition strategy and solicitation requirements based on industry responses. Responses are due not later than 21 April 1997. The Government specifications for these systems are available only on the CECOM Acquisition Center -- Washington Bulletin Board System and Worldwide Web Home Page. Users with modems may dial (703) 428-0864 for connections at 28.8 and below. Communication parameters should be no parity, 8 data bits, 1 stop bit, and full duplex.
