U.S. Army CECOM proposes to procure the design, development, fabrication and testing of thirty (30) Head Mounted Thermal Imager sensors. The systems will interface with a HMTI display component and customer approved headgear. This effort will last (14 1/2) months with the initial delivery of 15 HMTI's to be (12 1/2) months after award and the balance (13 1/2) months after award. The proposed procurement will result in a sole source firm fixed price (FFP) contract Texas Instruments Inc.. The estimated ate that the solicitation will be available on the Electronic Bulletin Board (EBB) is 18 March 97. The U.S. Army Communications Electronics Command (CECOM) has established an Electronic Bulletin Board (EBB) to provide electronic transmittal of Request for Proposals (RFPs) and Invitations for Bids (IFBs) from Government to Industry. All interested parties wishing to do business with CECOM are invited to access, operate, send and receive data from the CECOM EBB system. To become a user of the EBB, you will need an identification code and password in addition to a computer terminal equipped with the necessary hardware and software to interface with the EBB system. A user's identification code and password will be issued upon request along with instructions for downloading the EBB User's Manual.
