Naval Surface Warfare Center,Carderock Division Philadelphia, requires the cleaning of two (2) high pressure steam boilers in accordance with MIL-STD 796, using 10% Hydrochloric solution in lieu of the 5% solution specified by mentioned MIL-STD. All preparation for cleaning to be accomplished by contractor. All steps specified in MIL-STD 276, in addition to cleaning (i.e. passivization, water-jetting, etc.) are to be accomplished by the contractor.
