This procurement is for Logistics Anchor Desk technical support services. It is anticipated that a Time and Materials type of contract under which Standard Form 30's will be used to issue task orders. This is a sole source procurement to BBN Corporation, System and Technology Division, 10 Moulton Street, Cambridge, MA 02138. The services that will be acquired are continuous provision of highly specialized technical engineering services where a Logistics Anchor Desk is being used for contingency planning and operational use. The services will be provided at LAD sites within European Command, Atlantic Command, Central Command, and Pacific Command areas of operation. The following are the services which will be performed by the contractor: (1) Provide on site technical support for Logistic Anchor Desk (LAD) operational activites; (2) Integrate asset, operational and infrastructure data in the LAD cache and data distribution scheme; and (3) Provide software maintenance of the local LAD to include fixing bugs and defiencies as identified by the CINC users. The period of performance for this contract will be forty-eight months. See Numbered Note 22. All responsible sources may submit a bid or proposal which will be considered by the Agency.
