The Department of Energy, Idaho Operations Office, Procurement Services Division, intends to award a sole source contract to Scientech, Inc., Idaho Falls, Idaho under the authority of 41 U.S.C. 253(c)(1) as implemented by FAR 6.302-1. The proposed award will be for the continuation of work already in progress on the development and implementation of environment, safety and health (ES&H) reporting, database integration and data analysis. Existing databases are currently being integrated into a new, remotely accessible, secure wide area network with a common architecture and interface. The databases include the Occurrence Reporting and Processing System, the Performance Indicator Database System, the Computerized Accident/Incident Reporting System, and the Noncompliance Tracking System. The contract will be for three years with two one-year options. This announcement is for information purposes only. Scientech, Incorporated is the developer and the only source with technical capability, experience, and special facilities required to accomplish this effort.
