Page, 301-496-6546/Contract Specialist The National Library of Medicine has a requirement for serials produced in the United States and Canada and sold on subscription. NLM requires procurement of some 4,300 subscriptions for approximately 4,000 unique titles with a 1996 dollar value of approximately $985,000. This contract will be for renewal of 1998 subscriptions, with options covering calendar years 1999 through 2002 subscriptions. A fixed price, indefinite delivery (indefinite quantity) type contract with a base period of thirteen (13) months with options to extend the term for three (3), successive one (1) year periods; one eleven (11) month period, and options for additional quantities during each year, is anticipated. Release of the Request for Proposal (RFP) will be approximately fifteen (15) days from publication date of this synopsis.
