(BIOSIS) of Philadelphia, Pennsylvania, for the continuation of a License Agreement and reimbursement of royalty charges covering the use of data from BIOSIS databases including BIOSIS Previews and Biological Abstracts in NLM's online information retrieval services, TOXLINE and TOXLINE65. Also included in the contract is the assignment of Chemical Abstracts Service Registry Numbers to the BIOSIS citations used in these NLM files. Data from the contractor for 1965 through the present is already in the TOXLINE files, and NLM would experience an unacceptable delay and substantial duplication of costs should another source be used to reproduce the data collection already in place at BIOSIS. The proposed project will provide the BIOSIS license agreement and CAS Registry Number assignment for three additional years through June, 2000.
