The fixture must be capable of de-icing and drying an existing 1400 ft long, 12ft wide lane of asphalt during inclement weather. Anticipated lease period is four (4) months beginning in January 1997. The purpose of this announcement is to invite the makers of devices that can accomplish the requirement to notify NHTSA if they are interested in leasing their product during the time period stated.
