The second stage turbine duct support acts as a barrier between the high temperature gas path and the rear compressor cooling air which passes through holes in the second stage turbine duct segment. This is a FRACTURE CRITICAL part. To be eligible for award, offerors must be approved sources IAW clause I-70. The Government is NOT required to delay contract award pending source approval requests.
