The Coastal Systems Station, Dahlgren Division, NSWC, Panama City, FL intends to award a sole source Purchase Order to Presearch, Inc., Arlington, VA for providing support in the preparation of documents and graphics for three (3) seperate tasks: (1) Coastal Initiatives Office (CIO), Needs Assessment Support and Architecture Documentation; (2) Joint Countermine (JCM) Advanced Concepts Technology Demonstration (ACTD) Advanced Sensors Quarterly Report; and (3) FY97 Exploratory Development Plans for Mine Warfare (MIW) and Naval Special Warfare (NSW). Utilizing Government Furnished Information (GFI) provided by project/task leaders, the contractor shall collect data, compile, analyze, and report quarterly status for the JCM ACTD Advanced Sensors Program. This will be a short term follow-on to complete requirements started under contract N61331-92-D-0007 for the past five (5) years. As noted these are on-going projects and this Purchase Order will be to conclude requirements already in progress. Presearch, Inc. has developed a detailed in-depth knowledge of these projects through the support provided under the preveiously cited contract. The tasks contained in the Purchase Order is anticipated to be completed no later than 28 February 1997. No other contractor would be able to build the knowledge base that Presearch, Inc. has already achieved to complete this work within the allotted timeframe. See Note 22. (0310)
