Pacific Contracting Center, at Tripler Army Medical Center, Hawaii, has a requirement (3) positions for a Certified OB/GYN Nurse Practitioners. The contractor shall be responsible for planning and developing protocols, practices, and approaches required to provide care for routine obstetrical patients and well women presenting for non-surgical gynecological care. Shall perform comprehensive patient history, physical examination and assessment of women, stages of pregnancy, delivery and postpartum period, or understanding of information and/or treatment of gynecological conditions. Shall plan and carry out appropriate treatments; prescribe and administer medications authorized protocol or by a physician after consultation. Orders laboratory tests and radiologic studies. The contractor shall consult and instruct patients, and significant family members in person and by telephone on women's health issues, nutritional concerns, obstetrical concerns, and family planning.
