Pacific Contracting Center, at Tripler Army Medical Center, Hawaii, has a requirement to perform Medical Transcription Services for the Patient Administration Div, TAMC, HI., with an option to extend the term of the contract for (3) years. The contractor shall furnish all labor necessary to perform transcription service of electronic consultations. Shall transcribe from voice recordings of physicians to provide highly specialized medical dictation covering medically acceptable patient records using a Personal Computer, modern access, Lanier voicewrite transcribe station, and one telephone line for modern access on the computer and one for the modern access to the Lanier system. Turnaround time of completed consultation report will be 24 hours from dictation (not to exceed 48 hours) line counts transcribed per day. Location of contractor shall be off-site from Tripler. All work will be transmitted via modem to Tripler. RFP DADA16-96-R-0019 shall be issued O/A 11 Nov 96 and closed O/A 11 Dec 96. Acquisition is 100 PER CENT SET-ASIDE FOR SMALL BUSINESS.
