Pacific Contracting Center, at Tripler Army Medical Center, Hawaii, has a requirement for a Part-Time Cytotechnologist for the Dept. of Pathology, with an option to extend the term of the contract for (2) years. Contractor shall perform cytology examinations and support services include cytologic procedures, techniques, identification, interpretations, quality control, quality assurance, shall have a minimum of 15 years recent experience as a senior cytologist at a teaching medical center that supports a pathology residency program accredited by the Residency Review Commission. The contractor shall have a minimum of a Bachelor of Science degree to include formal training in a recognized medical technology/cytotechnology program. Proposed solicitation is 100 percent set-aside for small business. Contractor shall have knowledge and skills sufficient to sue and maintain instruments such as the microscope, automate stainers, homogenizers, cytospin, centrifuges and cryostat, planning.
