Features desk top size for laboratory use; coating roller head (2 ea. of roller); variable coating speed from 0.05 m/mim. to 1 m/mim; winding roll; provided heat for heating and drying of the coated layer; unwinding roll; the roller should provide variable coating width to a maximum coating width of 200 mm. The Desktop Heated Roller Coater is for fabricating electrodes for electrochemical capacitors and lithium-ion batteries. It is intended to award this contract to Hohsen Corporation, Osaka, Japan on a sole source basis--Hohsen Corporation is the only known source that provides a Heated Roller Coater designed for laboratory use instead of industrial use.
