The work consists essentially of repairs to seal cracks and prevent infiltration of water in risers and crossovers in the upper and lower main chambers, and the upper and lower auxiliary chambers of Belleville Locks and Dam; the emergency gate sill tunnels, miter gate sill tunnels and risers at Racine Locks and Dam; and the auxiliary lock tunnel and main lock tunnel at Greenup Locks and Dam. The estimated cost of this project is between $250,000.00 and $500,000.00. This is being solicited on an unrestricted basis. All responsible firms may submit an offer which will be considered. The solicitation will require the submission of cost/price proposal and a technical proposal. Technical proposals will be evaluated utilizing the following criteria: 1. Proposed method of sealing cracks with detailed descriptions; 2. List of product(s) to be used with product information sheets; 3. Size and type (capacity) of equipment to be used; 4. List of labor sources/capabilities (work to be performed by in-house forces or contract forces); 5. List of customers and description of work for which the contractor has performed similar work within the last five years with phone numbers, addresses, and points of contact. Plans and Specifications will be available on or about November 14, 1996. The charges for documents are $9.90 for half scale drawings and $16.30 for full scale drawings.
