D -- PRODUCT INFORMATION FOR MULTI-PORT CSU/DSU SOL SDTSPO-96-N-2031 DUE 093096 POC Mr. Makoto Aoki, Engineering Division, (703)302-3069 The DTS-PO is conducting a market survey and is seeking product information from manufacturers of multi-port CSU/DSU. A solicitation may not be issued nor a contract awarded. Information provided will be used to determine if a requirement exists for the product. Pricing data may be submitted. The Government's minimum requirements are: a) At least 4 individually configurable ports. b) Port data rates including 1200, 2400, 4800, 9600, 19.2 kbps, 28.8 kbps, 56 kbps, 64 kbps. c) Must support both synchronous and asynchronous ports. d) EIA-232 interface for rates at 19.2K and below. e) EIA-530 or V.35 interface for rates above 19.2 kbps. f) Must be a fractional T1 CSU/DSU. (i.e., not DDS only) g) Aggregate data rates of 64xN up to and including 1.544 mbps. h) 64 kbps clear channel capability. i) 47-63Hz, 90-130VAC operation. j) Ability to assign multiple ports to a single DS0 on the aggregate. k) All specs must be satisfied simultaneously. The Government's desired specifications are: a) Port data rates above 64 kbps (128 kbps and 256 kbps in particular) b) Aggregate data rates in multiples of 64 kbps up to and including 2.048 mbps. c) EIA-530 preferable over V.35.(0243)
