BROOKHAVEN NATIONAL LABORATORY located approximately 60 miles East of New York City intends to solicit bids for the following: LABORATORY AND COUNTING ROOM MODIFICATION BLDG. 535, for small business only. SIC Code 1542. Work consists of removal of existing lab benches and replace with new. The project also includes all labor, materials, and equipment to remove existing ceiling and replace with new suspended ceiling, floor coating, painting, refurbish existing work tops and wooden cabinets, mechanical and related electrical works. All work will be awarded on a single contract. Estimated construction time is 24 weeks. Estimated construction cost is $75,000 - $100,000. A 20% Bid Bond is required. Payment and Performance Bonds are required after contract award. Brookhaven National Laboratory is charging a non-refundable fee of $25 for bid documents.
