Brookhaven National Laboratory located approximately 60 miles East of New York City intends to solicit bids for the following: YAG Laser Enclosure and Facility Bldg. 820, for small business only. SIC Code 1623. Work consists of, but is not limited to, supplying and erecting new pre-fabricated roofed clean rooms, raised floor installations, rearranging spaces, cutting steel frames and siding and repairing after bulk removals, cutting and installing new door in existing masonry, renovating adjoining spaces and floor throughout a designated area in Building 820. The work includes new independent air handling systems, equipment and electrical and lighting upgrade. Work will be awarded on a single contract. Estimated construction time is 24 weeks. Estimated construction cost is $200,000 - $300,000. A 20% Bid Bond is required. Payment and Performance Bonds are required after contract award. Brookhaven National Laboratory is charging a non-refundable fee of $50 for bid documents. Personal checks made out to ``Brookhaven National Laboratory'' are acceptable.
