This announcement constitutes the only solicitation; proposals are being requested and a written solicitation will not be issued. The solicitation document and incorporated provisions and clauses are those in effect through the Federal Acquisition Circular (FAC) 90-38. The Television Audio Support Activity (T-ASA) intends to procure the following items: Twenty-five (25) each Antenna System, satellite; intelsat F-1 type approved; 4.5 - 4.6 meter; transmit/receiver capable; configured as receive only; elevation over azimuth; prime focus dual port; C-band; circular polarized feed w/spars and circular feed housing cover; overall gain greater than 42.6DB; VSWR 1.5:1 (antenna w/feed); beamwidth at -3DB: 0.6 degree; first sidelobe level: 20DB; lightning protection kit; minimum 180 degree tripod mount. Twenty-five (25) each Pier Mounting Kit, foundation; extension pier kit; mounting kit shall be designed for 105 miles per hour minimum survival winds.
