This program is a continuation of a 7 year joint effort by the USDA Forest Service and NFFJATC. NFFJATC is the only known entity that possesses the required Federal Department of Labor and State of California Apprenticeship program certification for wildland fire fighter training. This includes providing course credits recognized by Public Educational Institutes in the State of California at the post secondary or Community College level. (0234)
