The Naval Air Warfare Center Weapons Division, China Lake, CA., requires two Rate Table Systems, Carco Model 823/405A. Each system includes a DP-300 drive Pack (30 ft-lb torque); tachometer servo control (rate accuracy of 0.1% of selected rate or .01% of full scale; 120 line slip ring; standard l4'' table top; Model 1811-18 Pedestal (23'' ht); RPH2 rotary joint (4500 psi proof pressure; 3000 psi working pressure); model 405A servo motor controller with IEEE-4888 computer interface; model 80-CGM-1000 external linear amplifier chassis; interconnecting cables and mating connectors; two sets of manuals and drawings. All models numbers are Carco numbers.) These rate tables will be procured from Carco Electronics, on an other than full and open basis because the Carco has the only rate table system that can handle a mass weighing 300 pounds, capability to accelerate that mass up to 10 degrees per second; and deliver over 100 signals between a missile and the monitoring/control equipment; has a rate accuracy of .1% of rated speed or .01% of full scale; has a controller with an IEE-488 computer interface; and has a rotary joint capable of 4500 psi proof pressure, and 3000 psi working pressure. This is a combined synopsis/solicitation for a commercial item prepared in accordance with the format in FAR 12.6 as supplemented with additional information included in this notice.
