Higgins, Phone (703)604-0903 The Naval Air Systems Command intends to issue an order under Basic Ordering Agreement N00019-95-G-0135 to Lockheed Martin Tactical Communication Systems, Inc., 640 North 2200 West, Salt Lake City, UT 84116 for the supplies and services necessary to provide on-going field and operational support of the Predator Medium Altitude Endurance (MAE) Unmanned Aerial Vehicle (UAV) Ku-Band Data Link. This requirement includes field services support (training, field technical services and flight test support) and spares and repair parts support for flight training, flight operations, and flight demonstrations. As the designer and sole manufacturer of the Predator MAE UAV Ku-Band data link, Lockheed Martin is the only source with the technical expertise and data necessary to meet the Government's needs for field and operational support. The statutory authority permitting this sole source procurement is Title 10 U.S.C 2304(c)(1) as implemented by FAR 6.302-1, only one responsible source.
