Goudy,817 978 4074, Contracting Officer Concerns having the ability to furnish the following services are requested to give written notification within 30 days from the date of this synopsis. The General Services administration has awarded the Western zone aggregated switch procurement (Asp) contracts to replace existing telephone systems at consolidated locations. During the 21 months implementation period in which the Asp contractors will be installing new systems, the Government intends to obtain fully digital services capable of supporting approximately 2000 off-premisesmain station lines with direct digital termination on FTS 2000 network from the local exchange Carrier. (space for switching equipment will not be provided). Number of lines at the individual locations varies from 2 to 100. Service will be from September 6, 1996, through cutover of the Asp system, or September 5,1998, whichever comes first. Government has authority to terminate agreement within 30 days written notice. See Note 22. This is not a formal Solicitation. However, concerns that respond should furnish detailed data concerning their capabilities in providing central office dail tone.
