This acquisition is for three (3) EF Data SDM-650B Satellite Modems with variable rate and automatic uplink power control (AUPC) with the following characteristics: Data Rates from 19.2 Kbps to 2.048 Mbps, QPS Modulation, AUPC carried overhead channel utilizing no more than 1/15 of the data rate, Operating frequency of 50 to 90 Mhz in 2.5 Khz steps, Conventional encoding with soft decision, Sequential decoding, outtput power from -5 to -55 dBm with desired carrier, Remote control using RS-232 and RS-485 (switchable), EF Data SDM-650B data stream format.
