Contracting Officer, 206-984-3861. Furnish and install a complete lift
assembly consisting of electro-hydrauliclift unit, a control console
with hydraulic hoses, and runways with drive-up ramps. Each platform
shall have a solid steel stop plate mounted on the front of the
platform to prevent a vehicle from being driven off the front of the
platform. Both platforms will have wheel chocks at the end of the
platform. Chocks shall automatically swing into position as the lift is
raised and automatically recede when the lift is lowered. Chocks will
be securely pinned into the platform to prevent casual removal by shop
personnel. Chock design shall provide for minimum of two inches of
upward movement to prevent injury to personnel or damage to lift. Wheel
chocks will not reduce the effective length of the platform by more
than 6.3 inches. There shall be no fixed obstructions between the
platform lifts. Dimensions are as follows: length - 52 feet, raised
height - 6 feet 4 inches, retracted height is flush mounted with
concrete floor, lifting capacity - 102,000 pounds, distance between
platforms - 52 inches, platform width - 35 inches, and width of lift -
122 inches. The control system will lock-out operations of the lift
controls if any unsafe condition exists due to insufficient air
pressure to operate safety locks, displaced safety bars, or uneven
platform heights. This lock-out shall not clear unless the unsafe
condition has been corrected and the operator resets the control panel.
The control system will identify lock-out conditions with visual
signals. The main platform will have flouresent lights on the inner
edges to illuminate the work area beneath the vehicle when it is raised
on the lift. Lighting shall be installed in the recessed area oof the
main lifting platforms to be protected by clear shatter proof tubes
which will shield personnel in the event of bulb breakage. Manufacture
will provide all operational training to personnel. All offerors must
provide descriptive literature. All requests for a copy of the RFP
must include business size standard and Commercial and Government
