This procurement will be a Five Year Indefinite Quantity Type Contract. FOB Destination with required delivery of 160 ea to New Cumberland, PA, deliveries with First Article Test starting 288 days ADC at 40 each and then 40 each per month thereafter until completion. Delivery of First Article Test Report 138 days ADC. Deliveries without First Article Test of 40 ea beginning 120 days ADC and 40 per month thereafter. This procurement requires prequalification. All responsible sources may submit a proposal which shall be considered by the agency. Authority and justification is FAR 6.302.1, Only one Source or Only a Limited Number of Responsible Sources. This proposed contract actions is for supplies for which the Government does not have specifications and drawings to permit full and open competition; however, it is restricted to approved sources Parker-Hennifin Corp., National Machine Co. and McDonnell Douglas Helicopter Systems. The time required for approval of new supplies is such that award and delivery cannot be delayed pending approval of a new source. Firms are encouraged to seek source approval in order to compete for future solicitations IAW the instructions contained in Section L of the solicitation.
