Carter, 907/753-2551 Description of work to be performed: The contract shall be indefinite delivery-indefinite quantity firm fixed price. The base contract shall not exceed $2,500,000 for a one year period, with one option year for $2,500,000, and with a $1,000,000 delivery order limit. The Government may make award of up to three contracts to 8(a) contractors. Contract award dates will be staggered and are anticipated between August and September 1996. This work will be defined by delivery orders. The work performed will be located at various sites within Alaska. The types of work involved include: soil remediation (in-situ and ex-situ) by a variety of methods, asbestos abatement, investigations in support of soil remediation, laboratory testing, removal and disposal of RCRA, TSCA, and petroleum contaminated materials and wastes, debris removal and disposal, removal and installation of underground storage tanks, and preparation of technical reports and analysis. The contractor shall furnish personnel, equipment, tools, materials, plant, supervision, and other items, personnel and services as may be required to accomplish the work. Responders are advised that the requirements may be delayed, cancelled, or revised at any time during the solicitation, selection, evaluation, negotiation, and/or final award process based on decisions related to DOD changes and disposition of the Armed Services. The Government reserves the right to exercise the option anytime after award of the base contract. Range: $1,000,000 to $5,000,000--FFP--one year plus one option year completion time--SIC Code 1629--all responsible sources may submit a bid which shall be considered by this agency.
