CAMPBELL, JR (703) 806-4411 (Site Code DAHC35) The U.S. Army Directorate of Contracting, Fort Belvoir, Virginia intends to issue a solicitation for a contractor to provide all labor, materials, and equipment necessary to perform the renovation of kitchens and utility rooms of the Family Housing unites located at Fort Belvoir, Virginia. generally, the work to be performed includes, but is not limited to: (1) Demolition of existing kitchen cabinets, flooring, plumbing, washer and dryer connection, and electrical circuits; (2) Replacement of existing kitchen electrical lighting circuit, Installation of new washer and dryer connections in utility space. Installation of new dedicated circuit for dishwasher and disposal. Upgrade of two wall receptacles to GFI receptacles; (3) Installation of new kitchen cabinets, counter top, sink, ducted exhaust fan and new gas connection for stove; (4) Installation of Government supplied dishwasher and garbage disposals; (5) Installation of new plumbing for appliances and washer connection; (6) Installation of new vinyl sheet flooring and repair of subflooring as needed for kitchen, utility area and powder room; (7) Repair and painting of all walls, floors, ceilings, etc., that are damaged due to upgrade of existing circuits; (8) Cleaning of quarters upon completion. The proposed contract is a 100% set aside for Small Business concerns with a size standard of 17.0 million. The SIC Code is 1522. The magnitude is estimated between $1,000,000.00 and $5,000,000.00 for the Base Year and Two (2) Option Years.
