Swanson, Contract Specialist, (615) 454-7841 This procurement is for the upgrade of Arnold Engineering Development Center's Energy Management and Control System (EMCS). The project includes replacing aging DEC computers with DEC Alpha Stations, or equal, providing engineering for system configuration, upgrading software to Open VMS or Windows NT, converting present HSQ Miser Database to communicate with HSQ Technology Models 1862 and 2500 Field Interface Devices, providing field start-up and testing. System upgrade will include factory training and on-site operator training. Quantity to include 6 ea Alpha Stations, 4 ea 8-line servers, 1 ea failover control panel, and 1 ea 2-GB Tape Backup Unit.
