Hanson, (415)750-2172 It is the intent of the DVA Medical Center, San Francisco, to negotiate a sole-source LTOP (least to own) cost-per-test contract with Radiometer America, Inc. Medical Customer Service, 811 Sharon Drive, Westlake, Ohio 44145. The equipment shall be two (2) ABL 520 Blood Gas Systems. The system provides complete acid-base and oxygen status from an arterial blood sample and can measure ranges pf pH, blood gas and blood oximetry parameters. These features are critical requirements. In addition, the system provides automated archival data storage, co-oximetry, will interface with the existing hospital's computer system, and is capable of being upgraded to all electrolytes including glucose.
