Z -- REMOVAL AND REPLACEMENT OF UNDERGROUND FUEL TANKS SOL EMV-96-IB-0009. POC Jennie K. Renner, Contract Specialist, 540/542-2133. The proposed procurement is for the removal of three 1,000 gallon single wall steel #2 fuel oil underground storage tanks at separate buildings and replace with two 2,000 gallon and one 1,000 gallon #2 fuel oil double wall underground storage tanks. The tank removal work shall comply with Virginia 680-13-02 UST technical standards. The work shall be accomplished in accordance with nationally accepted codes. This work is set-aside for the small business concern. Prospective Contractors are required to possess a Virginia Class A license to submit a bid in response to this solicitation. The Contractor's primary business shall be installation of service station type fueling systems. The Government's estimated price range for the work is between $100,000.00 and $250,000.00. Construction will take place at the FEMA Mt. Weather Emergency Assistance Center, 19844 Blue Ridge Mountain Rd. (State Rt. 601), Bluemont, (Loudoun and Clark Counties) VA. A firm-fixed-price construction contract is anticipated to be awarded. A Prebid Conference and Site Visit is scheduled 6/25/96 at 9:00 AM. The period of performance will be 300 calendar days from receipt of Notice to Proceed.
