65 -- MRI FACILITY, EQUIPMENT, DELIVERY, INSTALLATION, MAINTENANCE AND MANUALS IAW SPECIFICATIONS SOL N62645-96-R-0023. Due 061296. The Naval Medical Logistics Command has a requirement for one (1) leased mobile Magnetic Resonace Imaging (MRI) unit and maintenance. The MRI unit shall be of sufficient capacity to ensure normal range of MRI procedures, to include pulse sequences and physiologic synchronized imaging. The mobile MRI unit shall meet minimum space requirements, equipment, components and systems as described in the solicitation. The contractor is responsible for placement of the mobile facility, leveling, connection of all utility sources and any additional steps required to make it operational. Routine, preventive and on-call maintenance is required. The contractor will provide two (2) complete sets of Operator Maintenance and Training Manuals. The period of performance is 1 Oct 1996 through 30 September 1997, with four option periods. The MRI unit will be located on Government property next to the Naval Hospital, Camp Lejeune, NC. A firm fixed-price lease type contract is contemplated. This requirement was previously published 7 Mar 96 as a small business set-aside; it is no longer set-aside for small business.
