The contract work consists of the placement of approximately 225,000 cubic yards of beachfill along the shore front between Third Avenue and Cape May Inlet, Cape May, New Jersey. The borrow area for the beachfill material is located approximately 9,000 feet offshore of the beach, south of the project location. Specifications and 1/2 size drawings will be furnished at a charge of $15.00 per set. Issue date for plans and specifications is on or about 28 June 1996 with a bid opening date of 30 July 1996 at 11:00 a.m. All requests for a solicitation package should be in writing along with a check or money order made payable to ``FAO, USAED, NORFOLK'' and must include your Federal Tax Identification Number.
