The Federal Deposit Insurance Corporation (FDIC) is seeking potential sources who are regularly engaged in the business of conducting billing audits of Telecommunications services. This service is to be provided for both the Federal Deposit Insurance Corporation and the Resolution Trust Corporation. The audit will cover all contracts, leases, and payments for local, long distance, and 800 voice services, pbx equipment and maintenance, data network services including circuits, equipment, and maintenance, and network management and all relevant tariffs affecting these costs for calendar year 1995 and from January 1 through May 31, 1996. Extending the audit services to previous time periods will be determined based on findings of the January 1, 1995 through May 31, 1996 period and the ability to recover suspected previous overpayments. Vendors should be able to negotiate with FDIC's service providers to eliminate service overcharges and to obtain refunds and credits. All refunds or credits will be payable directly to the Federal Deposit Insurance Corporation. A written summary of the findings related to each major contract and a site inventory report for each FDIC and RTC office must be provided to FDIC on completion of the study in printed and electronic format.
