R -- MEDICAL TRANSCRIPTION SERVICE SOL RFP 665-1-97 DUE 072496 POC Judith Trigger, 818/895-9356, Contracting Officer The Department of Veterans Affairs (VA) has a requirement for Medical Transcription Service for the VA Medical Center, 16111 Plummer St., Sepulveda, CA 91343. Contractor shall provide dictation for Radiology, Laboratory and Medical Administration Services. The Contractor must have compatible equipment with our Lanier Voicewriter System and be able to transmit into this Medical Center's computer system via telephone lines. Associated costs for compatible equipment and all telephone line charges are to be borne by the Contractor. Performance will be from October 1, 1996 through September 30, 1997 with four (4) one-year options for the periods October 1, 1997 through September 30, 1998, October 1, 1998 through September 30, 1999, October 1, 1999 through September 30, 2000 and October 1, 2000 through September 30, 2001. All requests for SOL must be in writing and directed to the Contracting Officer. No telephone requests will be accepted; however, FAX requests may be sent to (818) 895-9558.
