USACERL requires research support in the development of cost effective waste management, remediation, and control technologies that can be applied to pollution abatement. Research is likely to include innovative environmental pollution abatement technology reviews, assessment of environmental impacts of Army activities, evaluation and risk assessment of Army practice in waste minimization, treatment, and management, laboratory testing and pilot scale investigation of environmental processes, conventional multi-media pollution prevention research, industrial process hazardous waste stream minimization and elimination research, independent technical review of plans, engineering designs and reports, and pollution abatement/prevention technology transfer and implementation activities. Services to be provided will be accomplished under one or more indefinite delivery contracts with a total not-to-exceed value of $3,000,000 over the life of the contract. The contract(s) will be for a period of one year with the option to renew up to four (4) additional years. Delivery Orders will be issued on either a firm fixed price or cost reimbursable basis, as determined on each specific order. Request for Proposal (RFP) No. DACA88-96-R-0015 will be issued on or about 20 Jun 96 with the closing date on or about 6 Aug 96.
