A requirements contract for lease & recycle of plastic media is con- templated. May result in multiple awards. Requires an EPA-approved recycle pro- cess, certification must be provided with proposal. Requires an acceptable market for the recycled end product. Failure to provide certification or acceptable market will make the bidder non-responsive. Lease of Plastic Media in significant quantities: Media shall be Type II, Type III or Type V, to be delivered and picked up monthly or more frequently as usage requires. Based on last year's usage: Type V is estimated at 210,000 lbs. Type II is estimated at 387,000 lbs. Type III is included in case users switch from using Type II to Type III. The contract(s) will have a one year performance period with option to extend four additional years. . Destn: Hill Air Force Base, Ut 84056-5000. The approximate issue/response date will be 20 Jun 96. The anticipated award date will be 10 Jul 96. Written procedure will be used for this solicitation. No telephone requests. Only written or faxed requests received directly from the requestor are acceptable. All responsible sources solicited may submit a bid, proposal, or quotation which shall be considered.
